Made To Last Forever

The Word:

I anticipated the dawning of the morning and cried [in childlike prayer]; I hoped in Your word.
- Psalm 119:147

Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright.

Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.
- Proverbs 4:26, 27

Temptations will come our way, but we can grow through them In the Lord Jesus if we properly apply His Word and Listen to The Voice of His Holy Spirit. Anticipating the dawn isn't hard to do and doesn't take much Faith, but it does require hours of waiting and they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength! Soon, The Son shall rise to the Dawn of a New Day, so we should be watching the choices and decisions we make, but until then, His Word Is a Lamp to Guide us and a Light for our path. Are you on the Straight and Narrow Way?

How lovely on the mountain "are" the feet of Him Who Brings Good News, The Gospel of God, but it is while walking through the valleys and on the mountainsides that we must follow our Good Shepherd, so that our feet do not trip us up or cause us to stumble along The Way. O Lord, Give us hinds feet in high places! Commit and Submit your Way Unto Him and He Will establish, direct and order your steps aright, He Will Make your path straight. Listen to The Voice of The Holy Spirit as He Leads and Guides you into All Truth and Understanding, telling you whether to go to the right or to the left. Obedience to God's Word, Will and Way brings God's Blessings, but we must make a continuous and constant effort to remove our feet from evil. Resist the devil and he Must Flee From You!

Let your eyes look right on Jesus with great determination [with fixed purpose], let your gaze be straight upon the Shepherd of your Soul. The Word of God tells us that Jesus "must needs go to Samaria" where He had a Divine Appointment with the Woman at Jacob's Well and that He "set His Face like a flint towards Jerusalem" when He was destined to be sacrificed as The Lamb of God to take aWay the sins of the World. Like Jesus, the zeal for God's House should consume us! Our God Is A Consuming Fire, His Angels or Messengers (which we "are") should be flames of fire, God's Holy Spirit Fire should be burning within our heart, mind and soul, causing us to be focused on the things of God and wanting us to fulfill His Purposes.

John Wesley (founder of the Methodist Church) spoke of the burning heart and God's Holy and Precious Word tells us to keep our heart with All vigilance and above All that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. As God's Children we are admonished to be attentive to His Wisdom [learn by actual and costly experience], and incline our ear to His Understanding [of what is becoming and prudent for us]; that we may exercise proper discrimination and discretion, guard our lips, keep knowledge and the wise answer [to temptation]. Sin is pleasurable for a season, but the Righteousness of God which comes by Faith In Jesus last for All Eternity!

Do you cry Unto God with your whole heart? It Is He Who Saves us, so that we may keep His Testimonies, His Statutes. Do you hear His Word, receive It Into your heart, mind and soul, Love God, your neighbor as yourself, one another as Christ (God's Living Word) has Loved you and obey It? Jesus says, "Let the little children come Unto Me." We are to cry in childlike prayer Unto the Lord and Hope In His Word! Hope Will not disappoint us, because God's Word Is Faithful and True. Just as we can anticipate the dawning, we can expect the night to come and meditate On His Word, His Steadfast Love, His Everlasting Life and Righteous Decrees. Does your heart stand in awe of God's Word [dreading violation of them far more than the force of prince or potentate]?

[1 Sam. 24:11, 14; 26:18.] Do you rejoice at God's Word as one who finds great spoil? We should abhor falsehood, but Love God's Law and All day long Praise Him! Nothing shall offend you or make you stumble and you shall have great Peace (The Peace of God that far surpasses All human understanding) when you Love His Law.

[Prov. 3:2; Isa. 32:17.] Are you hoping, waiting (eagerly) for His Salvation? Do you keep His Commandments (Jesus says, "If you Love Me, you Will Obey My Commandments."), HIs Testimonies and Precepts? We should Love Them Exceedingly, because They "are" Promise and Assurance to us when Jesus Is ours. He Is our Deliverer and our lips should pour forth Praise with Thanksgiving and Renewed Trust! Jesus should be our delight and we should live to Praise Him!

As our HIgh Priest, Jesus sympathizes with our weaknesses, but in All points tempted as we are, He Is Without sin, so let us go boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy and find grace in our times of need. There is a whole World out there that has yet to have heard of The Christ, The Messiah, The Anointed One and is in need of His Salvation, so let us take God's Life Changing Word to All Nations and Peoples In Jesus' Name.

Amen.

God bless and Love to All,

Be ye reconcile to God
