YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YES….
Many times you always want to speak for yourself and find reasons to do the wrong thing in right way of course, nobody likes to take a “No” for an answer, but a “No” said in time can save a “No” said in regret. It is only a fool who will savour the aroma over and over again. It’s a nice thing to always have to agree to what others expect of you in every given circumstances, if it’s relevant to your purpose in life do it and if not don’t because if you fight to get the approval of men then you would get no approval at all.
Virginity in the society today is often attached to the 18th & 19th centuries and not to our society of today, and so many ladies have found themselves doing what others expect them to do even if it’s wrong things. Just of recent I had a report of some secondary school girls mocking their friends who were being virgins as “ Old Fashioned”. Can you just comprehend that? Your virginity as a lady is your esteem in womanhood and should not be traded for a five minute pleasure of all. Now if there is something you must understand in your relationship with your spouse- its that sex would not strengthen your love for each other rather depreciate it. No guy would EVER have the respect he used to have for you after he finds his way through your laps. It’s so funny to believe but my dear it’s true. I know of a guy whom I asked if he was going to get married to the person he was dating. He simply laughed and said no implying if she had given in to me she would easily give in to anyone else and I don’t want to get married to such a lady. Having pre-marital sex I fornication and it is a sin before your maker. Don’t you know your body is the housing of the Holy Ghost? Let me give you this example if a man has a sex with Lady Y, Lady Y had sex with everyone who man A has had sex with and those with whom those ones has had sex with and so on. Virginity is not old fashioned dear, those who tell it have lost theirs and are already old fashioned so they want you to join the crew.
And just in case you’ve lost it already you don’t have to be too hard on yourself perhaps you did it to satisfy friends or out of inadequate information. Jesus can make you clean again if you repent from it and turn away from doing it Hasty.
You don’t have to say yes:
- When pre-marital sex can give you AIDS, HIV, STD and other diseases.
- When a ten minute ‘enjoyment’ will last in a life time of sorrow and regret.
- When your inestimable worth as a lady would be threatened and lost.
- When the guy you give your virginity to can decide to leave you for another lady on the same street.
- When your friends want you to become an old fashioned as they are.
- When the love you think you’re doing suddenly turns out to disgust and hatred.
- When your spiritual walk with God would be threatened.
- When it would bring you disrespect from the man you would eventually get married to.
- When God has already said “NO”
